Belonging

The morning brought with it the promise of hope as the sun shone regally through the windows of my apartment, reflecting my eager anticipation. I hurriedly got dressed and sprinted to the park. I found a bench under a big willow tree and sat down to enjoy the warm summer breeze. As I waited, I reached over for the flick of Helen which I kept safely in my wallet.
