'We Do Abortions Here\r'
'What surprises me most about ââ¬Å"We Do Abortions presentââ¬Â is the level of imagery she employs. After indication the text, I feel as if I could act on the old banality and ââ¬Ëpaint a pictureââ¬â¢ of this situation abortion clinic. I can whirl in the locked glass door and check out the receptionist look at my bag skeptically. In the wait room, I check up on and assure the dysfunctional mother, or ââ¬Å"girl with enate benignity,ââ¬Â yelling at her kids in the waiting room.I can see the fear the womanââ¬â¢s face as the ignorant, hot-headed pay back lambasts her from the adjacent chair. I feel the cutting of the metal stirrups. I hear the whirring, churning, clod of the machine. I watch the ââ¬Å"swollen paunch sinkââ¬Â as the doctor moves the piping ââ¬Å"with an efficient rhythm,ââ¬Â an ââ¬Å"intent expressionââ¬Â on his face. I can sense the emotion of the girl whose hand I choose with one hand as I feel the ââ¬Å"tissueââ¬Â and ââ¬Å"contentsââ¬Â run down into the basin I hold with the other.I see their ââ¬Å"shakily applied eyeliner smear when they squawkââ¬Â that ââ¬Å"sharp, childish cry. ââ¬Â After the ââ¬Å"dirty work onââ¬Â is over, I see the ââ¬Å"curdlike blood clotsââ¬Â and ââ¬Å" lucid armââ¬Â swimming beside a hand. As it is dumped down the drain, the odor of something ââ¬Å"rich and humid,ââ¬Â ââ¬Å"hot, earthy, and molderingââ¬Â fills my nostrils and hits me in the stomach. I feel like I could walk out the doors of this building with a paycheck, yet there would be a piece of me that would feel morally impoverish for what I did in the place where ââ¬Å"They Do Abortions. ââ¬Â\r\n'
